COVID-19 Vaccine Fraud Alert –It’s clear the COVID-19 vaccination programme has opened up new opportunities for criminals. I would like us to start raising awarenessof how to report suspected fraud relating to the vaccine and other support schemes. By raising awareness, we can prevent some of the most vulnerable in our communities from falling victim to COVID-19 Vaccine Fraud. The Government Counter Fraud Profession (GCFP) have developed and shared some materials for use by all organisations to aid prevention of fraud and protect the general public. Attached are some digital flyers optimised for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. If you can, please use the social media platforms and services to spread the word. The CrimeStoppers Covid Fraud Hotline allows the general public to report suspected fraud regarding any of the government support schemes, whilst remaining 100% anonymous.
